Before the Visit
How soon can you come out?
Call (406) 541-2847 and Brian will tell you when he can be there. If it's something urgent, like a wasp nest by a door, say so when you call.
Do you give free estimates?
Yes. Call today to schedule an appointment or to request a free estimate.
What do I need to do to prepare?
It depends on the pest. For most visits, clear access to the problem areas (under sinks, garages, basements, window wells) and don't clean away droppings, webs or trails first, since they show Brian where the activity is. For cockroaches, he'll give you a specific prep list.
Do I need to be home?
Ask when you call. Brian will tell you whether he needs someone there to let him in, or whether outside work like a wasp nest can be done while you're out.
Safety
Is pest control safe for pets and kids?
Tell Brian about pets, kids and anything else in the house, fish tanks included. He'll tell you exactly what to do and how long to keep everyone away from treated areas for your treatment.
How long before we can use the room or yard again?
It depends on the treatment and where it was applied. Brian will tell you before he leaves.
Should I try to treat it myself first?
For small ant trails or a few spiders, some people do. For wasp and yellowjacket nests and cockroaches, it's usually better not to. Sprays and foggers tend to scatter these pests or get people stung, and can make the professional treatment harder.
Is it safe to clean up mouse droppings?
Carefully, yes. Don't sweep or vacuum them. Wet them with a disinfectant first, wear gloves and wipe them up. That's the CDC's advice because deer mice can carry hantavirus. More on rodent control.
